The Mercedes-AMG E63 S is undoubtedly a business cruiser that hides supercar powers. Like that isn’t enough, Brabus is showcasing a new 900 (horsepower) model that pushes the boundaries of the saloon’s performance.
The new Brabus 900 features an exclusive design that is characterised by the Bottrop-based tuner’s Signature Carbon exterior concept. This adds a graphite metallic chassis, stylish carbon elements, Brabus front spoiler, rear diffuser plus a front grille insert.
To reduce lift at high speeds, Brabus has fitted the new 900 with a carbon rear spoiler. The road patches come in the form of 21” Bravus Monoblock Z ‘Platinum Edition’ forged wheels coated in a Signature Black finish. Underneath, the Brabus 900 spawns an Airmatic Sports-Unit that is able to lower the ride height by up to 20 mm for enhanced driving dynamics.
Details inside include a Brabus Masterpiece interior that comes courtesy of carbon door sill trims with an illuminated Brabus logo that changes colour as per the interior ambient lighting. Other tweaks and bits include Brabus door latch pins and aluminium pedal pads. Buyers are able to customise the interior using the in-house Brabus saddlery according to personal taste.
The new Brabus 900 does away with the standard 4.0-litre twin-turbocharged V8 petrol engine and employs a bigger 4.5-litre V8 twin-turbo unit with 662 kW and 1,250 Nm of torque. A significant boost from the standard car’s 450 kW and 850 Nm.
Power is channeled to all four-wheels via the 4Matic+ system that’s wielded to a 9-speed automatic transmission that gives the super saloon a 2.8 seconds sprint to 100 km/h before hitting an electronically-limited top speed of 330 km/h.
The new Brabus 900 is avaialble as a customer-supplied E63 S or as a complete car.
