Following the reveal of the electrified Maserati Ghibli, the Modena-based automaker has unveiled its new Levante Hybrid.
Packing a four-cylinder 2.0-litre engine and a 48V hybrid system, the new Maserati Levante Hybrid is said to weigh less than its six-cylinder counterparts.
The maximum power output is 246 kW and 450 Nm of torque from 2 250 rpm. The Maserati Levante Hybrid is only available with an AWD configuration that enables it to accelerate from a standstill to 100km/h in 6 seconds. Its top speed is governed at 240 km/h.
Maserati says the new Levante Hybrid has a better weight distribution since the battery is placed in the rear without compromising the load capacity and optimally balancing the masses of the vehicle.
On the outside, the new Maserati Levante Hybrid launch version wears a new metallic tri-coat colour called Azzurro Astro, available as part of the Brand’s customisation programme, Maserati Fuoriserie.
As a blue hue chosen to identify hybrid cars in the Maserati range, the Italian carmaker has painted the side air ducts, brake callipers as well as the C-pillar logo in blue. Other painted interior bits include the embroidered seams of the seats.
The Maserati Levante Hybrid is equipped with the brand’s Connect program that alerts the driver when a service is due.
