Bentley is introducing a Mulliner Blackline specification package for its GT and GT Convertible models.
Swapping any chrome detailing for blacked-out bits and pieces, the Mulliner package adds an even more extensive list of bespoke items. According to the Crewe-based luxury automaker, 38% of global Continental GT orders include the Blackline options thus making it a sensible expansion.
The Mulliner Blackline package ditches all of the exterior bright ware for black finishing except for the ‘Winged’ emblem and radiator grille bezel. The mirrors get gloss Beluga black finishing while the signature Mulliner matrix wing vents get the dark treatment and are finished with bright Mulliner branding.
Other darkened bits include the front radiator grille with bright edges as well as lower bumper grilles.
Both GT Mulliner Blackline models come with 22” rims that are also finished in black shade but with self-levelling badges that spawn a chrome ring. Bentley promises that a black Mulliner wheel with contrast polished ‘pockets’ will be available soon.
As it currently stands, the interior soldiers on as it is from the existing Mulliner treatment. However, customers have the choice to choose upholstery options using the brand’s wide palette of hides and threads.
Also, the powertrain remains unchanged with two engine options to choose from; a 6.0-litre twin-turbo W12 with 467 kW and 900 Nm or a 4.0-litre twin-turbo unit with 404 kW and 757 Nm.
