About a month ago, the BMW Group made the announcement that it has acquired Alpina until the end of the year 2025.
While the future of the tuning firm remains unknown from 2025 and beyond, its latest addition, the B4 Gran Coupe is a stylish four-door coupe. While BMW promised that we will never see an M4 Gran Coupe, Alpina has our backs with its B4 model that packs a 3.0-litre straight-six engine with 364 kW and 730 Nm of torque.
The power band figures position the B4 in the region of the BMW M3 and M4 models. The Alpina BMW B4 is credited with a sprint from 0-100 km/h in 3.7 seconds with the top speed capped at 301 km/h while shifting through a new ZF 8HP76 8-speed sport automatic transmission that sends power to all four wheels.
Aesthetically, the new BMW Alpina B4 Gran Coupe rides on classic 20” wheels in 20-spoke design that is synonymous with the brand. According to the Buchloe-based firm, each wheel tips the scales at 12 kg and that gives the car a better ride quality.
The exterior is further equipped with a front and rear spoiler, four oval tailpipes of the Alpina sport exhaust system as well as a neatly integrated rear diffuser.
Buyers can have the B4 Gran Coupe painted in a wide range of BMW and BMW Individual shades with the Alpina Blue and Green metallic paint finishes set aside strictly for BMW Alpina products.
To mark its exclusivity, the BMW B4 Gran Coupe features a production plaque with individual build number and a hand-stitched steering wheel in Lavalina leather. If you want, the B4’s interior can be upgraded to a complete bespoke Lavalina leather upholstery.
Order books for the new BMW B4 Gran Coupe are already open and the first deliveries are earmarked to begin in July.
