Reimagined 'Little-G' Unveiled

Often mentioned in hip-hop songs and movies as representing the top 1%, the G-Class SUV has long held a component of high status. While this boxy off-roader sits at the top of many individuals' bucket lists, Mercedes-Benz is making this dream more attainable.

The Munich Motor Show was brimming with new releases and concepts, but the one that has been getting a lot of attention is this interestingly futuristic G-Class nicknamed the ‘little G’. This name is humorous and speaks to its target demographic, being in my opinion, young entrepreneurs and reasonably youthful parents.

Not much has been released surrounding this new model, but it is clear that there is no shortage of interest in this new Merc. There is speculation that the new model will be sold as an EV. As far as size goes, we're not expecting anything quite as small as a Suzuki Jimny, with the 'little G'  maintaining an element of authority.

Currently, we understand the development is in progress and the official name will shift from 'G-Class' to 'g-Class.

So when is this new g-Class arriving? Well, Merc hasn’t given any specific details surrounding its arrival, instead giving a blanket statement that it will arrive in a “few years”. In the meantime, we will surely wait with bated breath to see precisely what Merc has conjured in its development lab.
