Rolls-Royce Black Badge Wraith Black Arrow: It's The End For The V12 Coupe
You are looking at the last V12-powered Rolls-Royce coupe that the British luxury carmaker will ever make, as it focuses on one common goal: electrification.
Rolls-Royce plans to build only 12 units, which have already been allocated to customers.
The Rolls-Royce Black Badge Wraith Black Arrow wears a full-colour gradation between two shades; Celebration Silver and Black Diamond, with the latter getting a glass-infused 'Crystal' paint top coat.
Besides the extravagant shade, the unique model gets bumper inserts finished in a bright yellow shade and wheel pinstripes with a yellow circle within. The bright yellow tint further extends to the V-struts and the car's layered carbon fibre Spirit of Ecstasy.
Inside, the yellow colour dominates the cabin, and it's applied to the front seats, the steering wheel, and trim on the dashboard and doors. The coach doors are lined with open-pore black wood while the armrests, seat gussets, transmission tunnel, door detail, door panniers and lower dashboard panel are all finished in 'Club Leather'.
Powering the Black Badge Wraith Black Arrow is an unchanged twin-turbo 6.6-litre V12 engine that puts out 465 kW of power and a stump-pulling 870 Nm of torque. The engine features a special yellow-trimmed badge identifying it as the last V12 coupe .
Rolls-Royce is the latest manufacturer to announce the end of the road for the iconic V12 in its Coupe model - although this will continue in the Cullinan and Phantom for sometime still - following the announcement by Lamborghini in February that it will be introducing its Invencible and Atentica models to mark the end for the V12.
So far, Rolls-Royce has the Spectre as its fully-electric model, and we expect more models to be introduced in the coming years as the brand transitions to becoming an EV maker in 2030.
