Volvo XC90 ‘Adventure Beast’ to stun at FoM
When it comes to the Volvo brand, the annual Festival of Motoring (FoM) held at Kyalami Grand Prix Circuit has always been a platform for the marque to showcase some of its more bespoke creations.
In 2019, it unveiled the one-off XC90 dubbed 'The Beast', which looked ready for the apocalypse, and the XC60-based 'The Beast 2.0' was revealed at FoM in 2022.
This time around, the Swedish manufacturer is set to showcase its customised XC90 Adventure Beast at the Festival of Motoring, which is taking place at the Kyalami Grand Prix Circuit from 30 August to 1 September.
Developed in collaboration with Thule, the Swedish outdoor and transportation company, the XC90 Adventure Beast comes equipped with a range of accessories such as the Approach M rooftop tent, bicycle rack, and larger 20-inch all-terrain tyres.
While the Volvo XC90 is already known for its high-quality, versatile interior and impressive safety features, the Adventure Beast elevates the SUV into an ideal luxury vehicle for outdoor enthusiasts nationwide.
Volvo will provide showgoers with an exciting opportunity to experience the EX30 Twin Motor Performance on the track. To recap, the EX30 delivers an impressive 315 kW and accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.6 seconds. This high-performance model is priced at R1,055,900.
