Brabus-enhanced EQS 450 shows face
The only time tuning company Brabus applied its extensive expertise to an EV was with the Taycan Turbo S. We reckon it did this to prove that tuning companies aren't obsolete with the rise of electric cars.
This time around, it's not the Porsche but another product with German origins. Brabus has tweaked Mercedes-Benz's flagship EQS, which is essentially a fully-electric S-Class.
The EQS 450 in its standard form boasts a drag-coefficient of 0.20, one of the lowest numbers in the EV stable; however, Brabus has tweaked the shape of the EQS to further lower the Cd value by 7.2%.
For enhanced aerodynamics, the Brabus EQS 450 gets a front spoiler, side air intakes, Brabus carbon air deflectors in the front and rear wheel arches, as well as the brand's rear diffuser and rear spoiler.
Unlike the standard EQS, the Brabus model adopts monoblock wheels designed exclusively for it. These range between 20" and 22". The suspension has also been lowered by 15 mm at the front and 20 mm at the rear for optimal handling prowess.
Regarding the interior, the tuned EQS gets stainless steel door sills with an illuminated Brabus logo and aluminium pedal pads which can also be had in carbon if you ask Brabus nicely. There are floor protectors and trunk mats made of velour or elaborately quilted leather.
In case you'd like to customise the interior as per your liking, buyers can do so via the in-house Brabus upholstery shop that offers an abundance of additional niceties.
