BMW seems to be working on a hardcore CSL M4 model that will likely launch in 2022.
In the midst of thorough testing, the BMW M4 CSL was spotted wearing unique front grilles with a muscular and aggressive look.
The BMW M4 CSL will of course feature unique side skirts, a tweaked rear end, a bigger lip spoiler as well as a different diffuser. Reports suggest that it will ride on a set of new 19” and 20” tyres shod either with regular sport or track-focused rubbers.
The track-focused BMW M4 CSL will reportedly feature M bucket seats as standard with the choice of upgrading to the optional racing bucket seats. Other features will include an Alcantara steering wheel, lots of carbon bits and new optional M headlights.
It still remains unknown as to what will power the new BMW M4 CSL but reports state that it will spawn a modified version of the standard M4’s 3.0-litre twin-turbocharged petrol engine. The engine will produce roughly 400 kW sent entirely to the rear axle via an eight-speed automatic transmission.
BMW engineers will also deploy plenty of weight-saving measures courtesy of extensive use of carbon fibre everywhere possible.
