BMW's M Motorsport Lego set designed to ignite a passion for racing
The 2024 motorsport season is just around the corner, and while BMW M Motorsport promises thrilling performance, the brand has partnered with toymaker Lego to produce a new Speed Champions set that consists of the formidable BMW M Hybrid V8 and M4 GT3.
These models have been designed to ignite passion and enthusiasm among young motorsport enthusiasts, specifically those aged nine and above.
With a total of 676 pieces, the new miniature models of the Speed Champions are carefully constructed replicas of the original racers, and their authentic design features consist of the BMW M Motorsport livery, prominent diffuser elements, exhaust tailpipes, and spoilers. Its interior, on the other hand, has been given fine attention to detail, thanks to removable roofs that allow the racing driver figures to be inserted into their respective cockpits.
As stunning as the BMW M Hybrid V8 and M4 GT3 models look, they will surely pique the builders' racing interest as they work on the vehicles.
In terms of the upcoming racing events, the BMW M Hybrid V8 and the M4 GT3 are set to participate in global competitions such as the renowned 24 Hours of Le Mans in June, as well as the FIA World Endurance Championship, where the M Hybrid V8 will be vying for supremacy.
Specifically, the two BMW M Hybrid V8 cars will contend in the hypercar category at Le Mans, while the pair of BMW M4 GT3 racers will compete in the LMGT3 class.
