Citroën gets new brand logo for future models

Recently, car manufacturers have been tweaking their brand identities to match the new era of automobiles and Citroën is the latest marque to follow suit.

This is the 10th evolution in the brand’s 103 years of existence since André Citroën adopted the original design in 1919. Before the end of September, a new Citroën concept bearing the new logo will make its debut followed by new vehicles from mid-2023 onwards.

Also, Citroën says it will also introduce a new design language in which the new logo will clearly be a recognizable signature on all its models. Not that alone, the new insignia is complemented by a new slogan that reads ‘Nothing Moves Us Like Citroën’ and will be used selectively in corporate and product communications and activities.

Regarding the new logo, it spawns wider and more prominent chevrons contrasted and surrounded by a softer vertical oval frame, thanks to the help of the Stellantis Design Studio as well as Citroën’s design team.

The new identity ushers the brand towards pushing for electrification as part of the parent company’s Dare Forward 2030 plan to have passenger cars that are all-electric by 2030.
