The Mercedes-AMG GT Roadster was met with a painful demise last year and it was replaced by the redesigned SL. A good thing then the coupe variant remained behind and it seems like it is getting a refresh.
Spied doing rounds in snowy terrain, the AMG GT Coupe is developed entirely in-house by the folks at Mercedes-AMG and shares the same chassis with the SL.
So far, the first spy photos of what looks like the new Mercedes-AMG GT have surfaced online spawning heavy camo but even with that, we are able to spot the yellow exterior hue, quad exhaust tips as well as somewhat aggressive styling cues.
The new SL will morph into the next-generation AMG GT Coupe and while there isn’t any official information regarding powertrains, the SL’s 4.0-litre V8 will be part of the engine line up plus an electrified powerplant with over 588 kW of power.
The full reveal of the new Mercedes-AMG GT is earmarked for later this year.
