Lexus just announced that they are releasing a new car aimed to slot in below the UX.
These are exciting times for Lexus as they teased a brand-new car appearing in their arsenal. The New Lexus LBX seemingly shares a lot with the Toyota Corolla Cross, yet we are still waiting to find out what to expect from this model.
The LBX will be a luxury crossover; however, the question is, what components from the Corolla Cross will trickle into the soon-to-be-revealed LBX? Possibly the hybrid 2.0-litre inline-4 engine from the Corolla Cross?
The LBX is planned to debut on the 5th of June at 08:00 local time. While not much is known at this point, there is a big emphasis on their new signature light design, as seen in the teaser images. Our guess is that it will be a Crossover.
The Lexus LBX has a sleek rear light bar and bold headlights that look futuristic. The teasers further suggest that the car's design is inspired by similar future-proof design cues as seen on some Chinese vehicles – especially with the rounded front end and minimalistically-intricate grille layout.
Feel free to keep a lookout on our social media platforms and website to keep up to speed on the all-new Lexus LBX.
