Ford Ranger XLT: 3 Months later

After three months, countless kilometres, and more than a few adventures, it’s now time to look back on our experience with the Ford Ranger XLT. While it may not wear the premium badge of its Wildtrak and Platinum siblings, the XLT proved that you don’t need the fanciest Ranger in the stable to get the job done. From hauling an impressive payload for Star in a Reasonably Priced Car to serving as our trusted camera car on numerous shoots, this bakkie became an indispensable member of the TopGear SA fleet. Day after day, it quietly got on with the job. Comfortable, capable, well-equipped and dependable, the Ranger XLT delivered exactly what was asked of it and often a little more. So, we’re taking one more look back at a bakkie that may have flown under the radar but left a lasting impression on the team. Thanks for the help, Ranger.
