Unique Suzuki Brezza S-Edition to mark special SA relationship

It’s designed to slot between the GL and GLX models.

It has already been a year since the Vitara Brezza went on sale in Mzansi and to mark the special affair, Suzuki is introducing a special new model that bears the S-Edition nameplate.

Slotting between the GL and GLX variants, the new Suzuki Vitara Brezza S-Edition can be had either with a 5-speed manual or 4-speed transmission plus a host of additional styling cues as standard.

On the outside, the Vitara Brezza S-Edition features a front grille that has been changed from bright chrome to a pattered cubic chrome finish. A new optional silver front extender garnish with silver highlights in a black background replaces the dark polycarbonate skid plate. There is also a garnish in the front and rear that is connected by silver side skid plates.

The new Brezza S-Edition rides on unique 16″ alloy wheels with 15 spokes in a bold silver-and-black finish while a full set of wind deflectors on the front and rear doors that complete the exterior setup.

Inside, the S-Edition does away with the standard dash as well as door trim with soft silver highlights and now features Uber Life Silver that runs from door-to-door along the dashboard.

Like the GL, the Vitara Brezza S-Edition is fitted with dual airbags, a touch screen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay, Android Auto and a reverse camera, a multi-function steering wheel and climate control. It also comes standard with electric fold-in mirrors, rear parking sensors and height adjustment for the driver’s seat.

Optional extras include a rear roof spoiler extension, wheel arch cladding, carbon fibre-look side mirror caps, side cladding in black and red in a carbon fibre style finish and even a selection of hard-wearing black rubber mats.

Powering the Vitara Brezza S-Edition is a 1.5-litre four-cylinder naturally-aspirated engine with 77 kW and 138 Nm of torque.

The new Suzuki Vitara Brezza S-Edition with a manual transmission is priced at R266,900 and R286,900 for the automatic. It comes with a five-year / 200,000 km Mechanical Warranty, a six-year unlimited mileage Body Corrosion Warranty and a four-year or 60,000 km service plan.

There is also a three-year / unlimited mileage roadside assistance plan included in the price.
