Eden Classics' show gears up for another incredible display
The garden route is our local gem. It's a stretch of flawless roads and breathtaking scenery that puts even the French Riviera to shame. But perfect roads and stunning views are only the start of the equation, and a proper car is nothing short of a cherry on top. The Eden Classic Car Group seems to share a similar love for this part of the world and is set to host the second Eden Classic Car and Motorcycle Show in July.
Whether you prefer four wheels or two, this classic car show has a fine collection that will appeal to all purists. Timeless classics will take centre stage, supported by a plethora of supercar and motorcycle displays. Building on the positive feedback from its first outing, the classic car show is expected to be a fun day out for anyone with something special in their garage that needs a leg stretching.
The event will run from the 6th of July in Sedgefield, where a selection of handpicked icons will strut their stuff. Last year, 180 cars and 50 motorcycles were on display for a 2000-person audience, and this year promises to be even bigger and better. Working alongside the Knysna Oyster Festival, there is a large focus on giving back. Last year's Eden Classic Car and Motorcycle Show raised R42k for charities along the Garden Route, so there's no reason not to attend and enjoy a day out in the company of some impressive machines.
Speaking to its location, you can expect a rural and relaxed atmosphere on arrival, so if you are finding yourself wrapping along the coast on the M2 in July, make sure to stop by to experience some great cars and bikes amongst incredible scenery. More details will follow, so make sure to check in soon.
