Range Rover adds HST variant to Velar range

It joins the Range Rover Velar family with a choice of powerful and efficient P400 or D300 engines.

Previously introduced to the Range Rover Sport and Evoque models, the British carmaker is expanding the Velar fold with the introduction of the HST variant.

The new Range Rover Velar HST is based on the R-Dynamic and S model and it is available with a choice of six-cylinder Ingenium powerplants.

To set it apart from the entire range, it features a black contrast roof, full exterior black pack and rides on gloss black 21″ five split-spoke alloy wheels. It is also available in the full-colour palette and exclusively in new Arroios Grey and privacy glass.

The interior boasts black suede cloth outfitting the headlining and steering wheel plus a sliding panoramic roof. Other standard features include an Electronic Air Suspension with Adaptive Dynamics for optimum comfort and control.

The Range Rover Velar HST can be had either in P400 or D300 guises with mild-hybrid electric technology.

The new Range Rover HST is already available for sale in the US and prices start at $80,350 which roughly translates to R1,176,761.
