The Red Bull Showrun returns in F1 style

South Africans love events that are loud, fast, and smell like burnt rubber. Well, the Red Bull Showrun is one such event, and it’s unlike anything else in SA. David Coulthard and his RB7 will recapture the glory days of racing on the streets of Sandton, as we are treated to one of the greatest exhaust notes ever produced.

Red Bull knows how to put on a show, and with the F1 car as the main event, there is sure to be a plethora of events, activations, and activities to sink your teeth into while you enjoy Red Bull madness with your own eyes. To ensure the scene meets the nature of the event, Katherine Street will be closed and turned into the stage for the event.

The Showrun is set to take place on October 6, 2024, and it’s guaranteed to be a blast. Tickets are available online on Computicket for a starting price of R250 per person. To satisfy your appetite and prepare your body for the exciting day ahead, drink and food trucks will be present. It is encouraged that attendees use public transport services, like the Gautrain, to get to and from the event, but if you choose to drive, parking will be available at the Sandton City shopping centre.

So if you love racing and motoring spectacles, you can’t miss the Showrun. The Formula 1 legend will drive the RB7 alongside a packed schedule of motoring-related showcases. It’s fun, it’s loud, and it’s a show like no other.
