Another Land Rover Defender 90 Valiance emerges
The last time Dutch coachbuilder Heritage Customs transformed the current-gen Land Rover Defender 90 into a convertible was in 2022, and it was given the name Valiance with a prohibitive price tag of roughly R2,655,964.
The Dutch coachbuilder has now showcased its latest transformation, which carries the same Valiance nameplate and bespoke alterations compared to the 2022 Valiance model.
Based on the Defender 90, the latest Valiance convertible wears a Sunbeam Yellow exterior shade with black details all around, Heritage Customs side vents, and a hand-made electric fabric top, which is available in different colours.
Inside, the yellow and dark treatment continues with stunning black quilted leather and yellow contrast stitching across the seats, dashboard, steering wheel, door panel, and roll cage.
There are 3D-etched inlays made from etched aluminium on the dashboard, which is reminiscent of convertibles from the olden days, as well as a Heritage Customs shield that is embossed on the headrests. The Heritage Customs script on the backrests further complements these.
Heritage Customs didn’t make mention of any mechanical tweaks, but in standard guise, the Defender 90 is powered by a choice of petrol and diesel engines.
The company says that it’s increasing its production units to meet the increasing demand for the Valiance, which is commissioned exclusively for each customer, ensuring that no two vehicles are ever alike.
