Jaguar South Africa is expanding its XF sedan fraternity with the introduction of the new R-Dynamic Black model that is based on the R-Dynamic S version.
As its moniker suggests, the new Jaguar XF R-Dynamic Black is equipped with a gloss black treatment on the grille, grille surround, side window surrounds, fender vents and rear badges.
It features privacy glass, panoramic roof and can be had in a full range of exterior colours. The 19″ Gloss Black wheels in ‘Style 5106’ house red brake callipers.
The interior is fitted with Satin Charcoal Ash veneers, bright metal pedals, Premium Cabin Lighting feature that can be customised in 30 colours instead of the previous 10.
The Jaguar XF R-Dynamic Black features an improved Pivi Pro infotainment system that allows Spotify, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity as standard. Jaguar will roll out wireless Apple CarPlay via the software-over-the-air update.
Locally, the new Jaguar XF R-Dynamic Black model is available in two engine choices; P250 and D200.
The P250 variant features a 2.0-litre four-cylinder turbo petrol engine that develops 184 kW of power and 365 Nm of torque, enough to propel the sedan from 0-100 km/h in 6.9 seconds before topping out at 250 km/h. The D200 employs a 2.0-litre turbo diesel engine with 147 kW of power and 430 Nm of torque.
Both engines are paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission with Intelligent Driveline Dynamics.
